When you have a story or a testimony, you need NOT to hide from anyone. It’s time to share it with the world around you. Tell the Good News of God, what He did for you, and how He brought you out of the places where you were stuck once.
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, bless His holy name. Share/sing like never before, oh my soul. Worship His holy name! The world needs to hear your testimony, as you carry the answer for others’ breakthrough. Your story will touch hundreds and thousands of people who you may never meet or come to know of. Jesus brought us out of our misery, challenges, and heartaches for a reason. And that reason is for us to glorify His name through our testimonies of the Lord. We also overcome the enemy of our soul, the devil, by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Let us start sharing our testimony in person or via Facebook/other social media platforms. We all have one, so what are we waiting for? I have recorded my story/testimony of the Lord in the Episodes #1,2, and 3 of my podcast, "mightymotivational-mamta." I invite you to come and listen to it, as it covers my spiritual journey from Hinduism to Christianity plus my Healing Testimony. Here is the link to it: https://anchor.fm/mightymotivational-mamta

When God shows us any sign of healing whether it is 10% or 20% or 50%; just pursue and go after receiving the rest of it from Jesus. The PARTIAL HEALING is indeed a sign that the Lord has already started the work of healing in us, and He will bring it to completion if we stick with God until the very end.
A couple of months ago, I prayed over a man's knee. After prayers, this guy mentioned that his pain was reduced by only 10%. I knew that God had opened a portal of healing over his knee and his partial healing was the manifestation of it. Who knew when this man would be completely healed, but God! Sure enough, when I met him after a week or two, he told me that his pain went down significantly but was still not free 100%. I asked if I could pray one more time to bring his healing to completion or close to completion, and he let me. Matthew 11:12 (ESV), "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force." I think that a lot of us get excited over the PARTIAL HEALING, and we get settled down with a knowing that the rest of the healing will be coming soon from the Lord. Sometimes it does and other times, it lingers on for a while. When the Lord opens a window of healing over any area of our lives, we have a part to play which is to partner with Jesus and stand FIRM in our faith until we receive all (not partial) that we are contending for from God. There is saying, "Get it while the going is good." So, let's position ourselves in the midst of our PARTIAL HEALING, go after Jesus wholeheartedly, and touch the hem of His garment. Genesis 32:26, But Jacob said, “I will not let you go, not until you bless me.” Let us be like Jacob who will not let go of God until we receive our blessings from Him! I recently met a believer who was in a wheelchair. Upon asking how I could pray for him, he said that he wanted God to help him lose weight which he has put on during the pandemic. I asked, “How about asking God to heal you, so you could walk?” He replied, “I would like God to help me lose weight only.” I didn’t quite understand his reason for not asking God to set him free from his infirmity, as Jesus is ABLE.
Since then, I have been pondering over his response. I believe how we see our Heavenly Father depends upon our perception and circumstances. If we see Jesus as an ordinary God then our ASK will be small, and our expectation of God will be LOW. But if we see Jesus as an Extraordinary God then we will petition our request BOLDLY, and our expectation will be high too. God’s words say if we ask, it will be given unto us, so why not ask Him. It’s not of a BIG ASK for Jesus to heal and restore us back to our normal health or fulfill the desires of our heart according to His will and purpose. We know the outcome is in His hands, but our job is to ask and pray without ceasing. Let’s not settle with our pain or infirmity or any other pressing issue and call it quits. Let’s keep knocking at Jesus' door, keep going after Him until we touch the hem of His garment and get our breakthrough. He loves when we pursue Him wholeheartedly. Jesus controls the entire universe, and everything is in His hands. Let’s partner with the Lord and get back all that has been stolen from us by the enemy of our soul. Jesus loves our ASK, big or small, because it shows Him that we trust Him, we know who we are in Him, and who He is to us - the God of gods, the Lord of lords, and the King of kings. Nothing is impossible with God! (Luke 1:37) But we have to BELIEVE. I am so thankful for my friend who shared the goodness of Jesus with me 11 years ago. The Good News of Jesus brought much peace, great joy, healing, salvation, the gift of Holy Spirit, and a personal connection with God to my life. The Lord is AMAZING, and His mercy endures forever. Let’s not keep Jesus to ourselves but share with our friends.
Psalm 34:8, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Since January, my husband and I have been looking to hire workers/handymen for our home repairs. The workers who we contacted had come to look at the repair job but none of them have yet committed to us. It's frustrating and disappointing to see that we aren’t able to find a single worker who is willing to take the job we have for them.
This situation opened my eyes and made me wonder how God feels about not finding workers for the bountiful harvest He sees around us. There is a lot of work God has for us while we are on this earth, but the question is, “Who is willing to come forth and share His work or burden?” There are people who have not yet heard the Gospel because we have not gone to them and shared the Good News with them whether they are our neighbors or co-workers or friends or relatives or even strangers. It’s His command for each one of us, NOT just for Evangelists, to GO, Make Disciples, and Share the Good News. God is perhaps waiting and waiting for us to come and pick up our assignment and yet we are putting Him on hold and doing the stuff that either gives us pleasure or convenient for us. I can only imagine how God is thinking or feeling about our carefree approach. Now that I have tasted this Bible verse, “Harvest is plentiful; workers are few” in my own little world, so I am beginning to appreciate its significance and urgency more than ever. God is serious about His harvest, and He expects us to take it seriously too. He doesn't want anyone to perish eternally and die without knowing Jesus. We are His children, believers and nonbelievers, and He wants everyone to receive Salvation and spend Eternity with God. There is no such thing as “reincarnation - life after death” as it’s just a myth. There is either Eternal Hell or Heaven, and we have been given the freedom to choose. Let’s reach out to as many people as possible and invite God to speak through us. We just have to share the Good News and the rest is all in His hands. Jesus knows those who are His, but He needs us to be His voice! Let’s be the ONE who says, “Send me, God!” |
