In the past, I used to think that I was one of a kind dealing with so many physical infirmities, and I bet no one else had to go through as much as I had to. Thankfully, my perspective has changed ever since I have been meeting people in the marketplace and getting to hear their challenges.
Last month, I met a young lady who has been dealing with EXACTLY the same physical symptoms that I once dealt with. It turned out that her Medical Diagnosis is SAME too, as it was for me. Having to see my history come alive right in front of my eyes was both shocking and surprising to me. She has tried many medicine and holistic paths just like I did, but so far, she has not found any help or solution to her problems. I wondered, “Wow, God, what are you up to here?” I felt bad to hear all that she is going through because I know the hopelessness, helplessness, and discouragement that come with it. When I shared my story before and after the healing of the Lord, she was shocked to hear at first but soon became OPTIMISTIC. She has now the confidence that there is a SOLUTION and an ANSWER for her problems too just like it was for me. I could also pray for her healing and point this young medical student to the GREAT PHYSICIAN, Dr. Jesus, who has all it takes to set her free from all that she is enduring. I never imagined meeting someone walking through the SAME FIRE as I did once. Who knew? But God! I learned something profound here: Our testimony is truly to live out for others. When God brings us out of any of our dark places where we were stuck once, we are not to keep His testimonies to ourselves but share with others. He gives us His AUTHORITY to set captives free and bring them out of their bondages by talking about the goodness of God, sharing our HOPE in Jesus Christ, and casting out their infirmities and sicknesses in Jesus' mighty name. Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” JESUS is the ultimate HEALER not us, but we have a part to play which is to step out on His behalf and be His voice, hand, and feet! Blessings in sharing your testimonies of the Lord and spreading His LOVE to the world around you this coming New Year, 2022!

When Jesus was born, He brought the Good News for the entire humanity! In fact, He is the Good News! Some parts of the world already know Him whereas other parts have yet to know Him. Let’s spread the Good News of our Messiah, so others will come to the knowledge of the One and only One God - the Savior of this world!
There are so many temptations around us that are constantly drawing our attention and luring us into its web of busyness. If we are not careful, we can easily heed to superficial/glittery worldly stuff which adds absolutely NO value to our being and God-given purpose for our lives.
Our minds are constantly battling and waging war against the very things God prohibits or warns us to entertain. Knowing or unknowingly, we ignore God’s lead and do exactly what our flesh wants because it brings momentarily pleasure to us. I am guilty of that. Before we know, our hearts are cluttered with junk which either leaves NO room for Jesus' presence in our lives or grieves His Holy Spirit. No wonder why we have difficulty in hearing God’s still small voice and wonder where God is when we need Him the most. Perhaps God is waiting on us to DECLUTTER our hearts, so He is able to freely rule and reign in and through us. Although holidays can be demanding, we can still be mindful of our time with Jesus and celebrate the season by reflecting back to all He has done in our lives. Let’s make a deliberate attempt to have an intimate time with Him, so we can have an infilling of His presence which will surpass all of chaos, confusion, and distractions around us. Let’s inquire of Him what His heart desires of us and then be obedient to carry it out. Unless we make room for Jesus to come and dwell in our lives, we wouldn’t know how to live from INSIDE OUT and experience His everlasting PEACE and JOY. Let’s chase after God’s perspective vs. World's perspective. There is still time to invite and welcome JESUS in your heart while He is knocking at your door and asking you to open the door of your heart. Let us embrace the sovereign act of God: “God is coming to us instead of us going to Him.” (That's HUGE!) Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.” Before becoming a BELIEVER, I didn’t know the true significance of Christmas the way I do now. I celebrated Christmas as a Holiday because the world around me celebrated it. I would simply follow the Holiday traditions by decorating a Christmas tree with beautiful and glittery ornaments, hanging a wreath outside our main door, brightening our house with multi-colored lights, and much more. I need not to forget the beauty of shopping gifts for my loved ones and friends, putting them under our tree, and what a joy it was and still is to exchange gifts with them on or before Christmas Day!
There is NOTHING wrong with the holiday-related trends, as they brought and still brings WARMTH in our home, LOVE in our hearts, PEACE in our soul, and JOY in our lives! But in the midst of all of this Holiday craziness and busyness, what was missing in my life was CHRIST and my understanding of the reason for His birth. "Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:9-10). I realize now that every day of the year is Christmas if we follow Christ and are led by His Holy Spirit. Our hearts are truly empty without His presence (that’s HUGE), and our lives are absolutely fruitless and meaningless without having Christ as our Lord and Savior. Blessed are those whose Lord God is Christ and blessed are those feet who bring good tidings to others around them! Have a blessed CHRIST CENTERED CHRISTMAS to all of my FB near, far, and dear friends! Enjoy Christmas, but above all, enjoy Christ’s spirit during this special season! Invite Jesus and His Holy Spirit to come and dwell in your heart! And He surely will! Be expectant of the beautiful journey you will embark with Him! Your life will be transformed forever, as old you will be gone and new you will be created in Christ! Happy Holy Days with Christ! As we have entered the month of December, let us remember the goodness, healings, breakthroughs, mercy, grace, unconditional love and compassion, and blessings of Jesus!
The King of kings chose to be born in a stable over a royal palace; wore ordinary clothes as opposed to royal garments; preferred spending time with the ordinary, oppressed, depressed, and rejected people over the known, rich, and famous people of His time. What a sacrificial earthly life Jesus lived! Jesus is the ONE who continuously fulfills the desires of our hearts, gives us the gifts that we don’t even deserve, takes our heavy yoke in exchange for His light yoke, secures our salvation and eternal life with Him, and the list of His giving goes on and on. In return, He needs NO Gifts from us. NOTHING. His only desire is to have a personal relationship/connection with His children. That’s all! Let us be INTENTIONAL this month in blessing His holy name, loving Him, praising and worshipping Him. Let us rejoice and celebrate Jesus’ birthday by establishing or strengthening our relationship with Him. His heart melts when His prodigal sons and daughters return back to Him or when His lost sheep comes into His fold. Let us pray for Jesus’ heart desires be fulfilled during His birthday month! Jesus adores us, so let’s adore Him back and show our appreciation to Him for all that He has done for us! Have a blessed December! |
