​Who knew that one day I would celebrate CHRIST CENTERED CHRISTMAS over CHRISTMAS as a HOLIDAY? But God!

Before becoming a BELIEVER, I didn’t know the true significance of Christmas the way I do now. I celebrated Christmas as a Holiday because the world around me celebrated it. I would simply follow the Holiday traditions by decorating a Christmas tree with beautiful and glittery ornaments, hanging a wreath outside our main door, brightening our house with multi-colored lights, and much more. I need not to forget the beauty of shopping gifts for my loved ones and friends, putting them under our tree, and what a joy it was and still is to exchange gifts with them on or before Christmas Day!

There is NOTHING wrong with the holiday-related trends, as they brought and still brings WARMTH in our home, LOVE in our hearts, PEACE in our soul, and JOY in our lives! But in the midst of all of this Holiday craziness and busyness, what was missing in my life was CHRIST and my understanding of the reason for His birth.

"Then the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:9-10).
I realize now that every day of the year is Christmas if we follow Christ and are led by His Holy Spirit. Our hearts are truly empty without His presence (that’s HUGE), and our lives are absolutely fruitless and meaningless without having Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Blessed are those whose Lord God is Christ and blessed are those feet who bring good tidings to others around them!

Enjoy Christmas, but above all, enjoy Christ’s spirit during this special season!

Invite Jesus and His Holy Spirit to come and dwell in your heart! And He surely will!

Be expectant of the beautiful journey you will embark with Him! Your life will be transformed forever, as old you will be gone and new you will be created in Christ!
