Let’s make room for Jesus in our hearts this season!

There are so many temptations around us that are constantly drawing our attention and luring us into its web of busyness. If we are not careful, we can easily heed to superficial/glittery worldly stuff which adds absolutely NO value to our being and God-given purpose for our lives.

Our minds are constantly battling and waging war against the very things God prohibits or warns us to entertain. Knowing or unknowingly, we ignore God’s lead and do exactly what our flesh wants because it brings momentarily pleasure to us. I am guilty of that.

Before we know, our hearts are cluttered with junk which either leaves NO room for Jesus' presence in our lives or grieves His Holy Spirit. No wonder why we have difficulty in hearing God’s still small voice and wonder where God is when we need Him the most. Perhaps God is waiting on us to DECLUTTER our hearts, so He is able to freely rule and reign in and through us.

Although holidays can be demanding, we can still be mindful of our time with Jesus and celebrate the season by reflecting back to all He has done in our lives. Let’s make a deliberate attempt to have an intimate time with Him, so we can have an infilling of His presence which will surpass all of chaos, confusion, and distractions around us. Let’s inquire of Him what His heart desires of us and then be obedient to carry it out.

Unless we make room for Jesus to come and dwell in our lives, we wouldn’t know how to live from INSIDE OUT and experience His everlasting PEACE and JOY. Let’s chase after God’s perspective vs. World's perspective. There is still time to invite and welcome JESUS in your heart while He is knocking at your door and asking you to open the door of your heart.

Let us embrace the sovereign act of God: “God is coming to us instead of us going to Him.” (That's HUGE!)

Revelation 3:20,
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.”
