In the recent past, I prayed with a young man & woman and petitioned for their knee healing to the Lord. Their healing didn’t manifest right away but I trusted Jesus that He would take care of their physical needs. After a month or so, I met them again and saw both of them wearing their knee pads. In fact, this young man recognized me and stopped to tell me that his knee has been healed. He has been playing basketball which he couldn’t do before. I asked his reason for wearing his knee pad since he is already healed. He told me that he wants to keep it on, so his knee continues to stay protected and healed. Then I met the young woman who received prayers over her knee. Upon asking her reason for wearing knee pad, she said that she didn’t know if she was to keep it on or let it go after she was healed. Friends, if we are not careful then we can accept the enemy’s lies as the honest truth. The enemy wants to convince us that either we are not healed by the Lord, or we will lose our healing after we receive it from Him. All he wants is our agreement with him, so we become fearful or overly protective of our healing and continue to stay in disbelief. This way, he can keep us in bondage as long as he can. Once Jesus heals us, He does not take back His healing from us. It’s DONE DEAL from Him, so we just need to rejoice and bless His Holy Name for the blessing He has given to us! Let this settle in your heart and mind that your healing from the Lord is to stay with/in you permanently. PERIOD! John 8:32, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
