Our testimony not only reminds us who God is and what He did for us, but it brings hope, faith, and encouragement to others (believers and nonbelievers) in need. Friends, let’s be bold and fearless in glorifying Jesus through our personal testimonies (old or new) when given the chance.
"We may declare the praises of him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light." (1Pet. 2:9). Just like any other story, our personal testimonies must have 3 parts, the beginning, middle, and end, so let’s not leave any part of our story out. All of these 3 elements are vital and make up our entire testimony: Beginning ~ problem or theme of our lives Middle ~ climax or turning point of our lives End ~ solution to our problems via God’s intervention Our testimonies build momentum when we give voice to them and share with others. There is POWER in our tongue ~ as we speak the goodness of Jesus, we receive His blessings back. It is one of the most powerful spiritual weapons that we could use against our adversary in our spiritual warfare. It carries such an authority and unique power in the spiritual atmosphere without us even realizing it. Heaven hears our testimonies and so does hell. It certainly puts our enemy at bay. The world is looking and searching for answers to their problems just like we were once, so friends, let’s go and tell them who our helper and divine healer is. Our testimonies are the BEST Christmas gift we can ever give to others besides other gifts! As Peter said, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (1 Pet. 3:15) Let’s share Jesus and His testimonies, as they are truly the reason for the season!
